Opposing wizard challenging you

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 2:24 am

Am I the only one who finds this one of the most badass features in the entire game? In Oblivion, you could become the Archmage of the Mages' Guild without a sweat on the brow, and just about two people would acknowledge you as such.

Here, spellcasters will challenge you on the street to see who is truly the best. Come on, how epic is that?

Thank you, Beth.

Now, a mage tower. :whisper:

- And yeah, don't ask me where this was confirmed - but it was back when gameinformer did their exclusive coverage, so a good 9 months back in time.

:shocking: :obliviongate:

Entire cities will be wiped out by dueling wizards.

This should be fun.

Hm, (that's kinda apoiler, but I didn't mind. :) ). I expect your character being good with (certain) skills will cause these challenges (i.e, destruction, one handed, etc) to appear.

I knew about weapon duels, but not magic....that's just....sweeeet!!!!! I wonder if a cookoff or blacksmith challenge could occur too (heh, probably a stretch....mods mabye).
