Seems great... do you think it works better than FXAA?
It works better than Skyrim's built in FXAA can't comment on other FXAA options.

The in game graphic difference between SMAA and default AA (admittly not FXAA) is small, SMAA maybe looks slightly better. However the FPS difference is ridiculously good.

Pluto give this one a try:
http://mrhaandi.blogspot.com/p/injectsmaa.html

I turned my in-game based AA off completely, and put SMAA files in the game folder, my FPS jumped from 30 to 60...

I just tested this and it looks incredible. Unfortunately I'm already using d3d9.dll for FPS Limiter. Now I can't decide. Smoother gameplay or gorgeous AA with virtually no performance impact.

I don't suppose anyone knows of another way I can cap my framerate at 45 without the need for GriefReaper's great mod?

You might be able to load both using http://enbdev.com/doc_proxy_en.htmfunction. Haven't tried it.

EDIT: Nevermind it only allows one extra library.

So, since I posted this up in the wrong thread... does anyone have a method of optimizing, reducing, anything - for textures and meshes, beyond just normal compression?

Did some further research don't think it actually works. :(
EDIT: Unless ENB has its own FPS Limiter, then it would work. :)

NifOpt will optimize dds files? Interesting.

It does since a few months ...

You could also use dxtory (the trial version has a nag screen but no time or feature limitations) or bandicam (haven't tried that yet, since I'm using dxtory). Both are actually recording programs but allow to only limit fps.

I only have 256mb of VRAM. :dry:

If you have not already but kill the Shadows here are the ini with bDrawShadow (one of those hidden ini settings that works)

[Display]
fInteriorShadowDistance=0.0000
fShadowDistance=0.0000
fShadowLODStartFade=0.0000
bTreesReceiveShadows=0
bDrawLandShadows=0
bDrawShadows=0

Textures - nothing like Wiseman Reduced yet, all high rez texture packs..

Any archers out there find the havoc part of the meshes to be of a stupid size way beyond model in game ? Arrows sticking into door frames , heads on pikes ect But floating next to them in mid air ? o.0 Seems like nearly every model needs to have its havoc part resized to be slightly within the model instead of stupidly outside of :§
