An option to revive dead NPC's on XboxPS3?

I think it should be a great thing for us, console players because it's so annoying when it happens and NPC's are so weak. A lot of things can kill them : Dragon's attacks, Vampire's raids on Dawnguard and random stuff...

Yes, more ways to take away consequence is a great idea.

It may sound like a good idea initially, but i guarantee it'll takes away alot of.. something.

As a console player I have just learned to deal with it. If someone i actually care about is killed i usually reload a previous save.

The trick is to make reviving the deceased provide consequences in itself. ^_^

I've written a short thing I'd like to see in this regards. A series of quests (probably involving either Arkay or another divine) where you first complete a small quest chain to obtain some special herb/trinket that the reviver needs. Probably a monetary donation would be in order too. :P

Next, you would proceed to a dungeon where in the very back is the priest and the body of whom you wish to ressurect.

After you resurrect said person, the dungeon then fills with ghosts - trying to keep that person from leaving. Your job... keep them alive and get them out of there and back home.

That doesn't always work...

For example, I'd love to keep the blacksmith in Riverwood alive - but early on I got into a nasty brawl with a Dragon there... and no matter how many times I reloaded, reangled and re-started that fight, the blacksmith always runs RIGHT at the dragon trying to box it about the ears - leading to his instant vaporization.

Likewise I had Jorland Greymane mysteriously die on me. Just one day I came back to Whiterun, and everybody is talking about him being dead. Apparently I'm not the only one who has had this goofy bug happen to them.

Thankfully I don't have Dawnguard (PS3 owner) but I've heard about it.

Being a thief, I'm seriously considering crafting up a ton of epic weapons and just placing them (via pickpocketing) onto every single NPC I care about.
