So, I am really looking for the perfect characted where I can have alot of fun with. I like roleplaying, but not too much, I only make the decisions: Should i do that in real life? But, is an Orc fun to play? And in which style is it fun to play?
Once I made a very beast-looking Orc. He was a warrior, an archer, a mage, a kind of what-I-like-to-try-out character, and all went good untill I had too many items I couldn't drop and quests I would have not done. I had fun with him.
I'm playing one for the first time right now and love it (levell 25ish). Warrior/Barbarian type with little concern for the complications of others. I RP that I'm from one of the strongholds in Skyrim and I'm out proving myself before it becomes my time to become chief of the hold. My uncle from the hold is my follower and has been the only one. I did complete the MQ, but that was for the glory of it and that pesky "end of the world" thing didn't fit in my plans very well. Everything is for the glory or survival of the stronghold.
I've found that it removes my need to fit into a roll in society.....if that makes sense. My Nords had to be Nords, my thief had to be Guild Master. This guy? He doesn't give a rat's backside. Just go. Be loud and proud.
I play Orcs because I think they look the best out of any of the non-beast races. All of their features are more cleanly rendered than most of humans'. And if you're willing to overlook a slightly puggish nose, you can make a fairly attractive Orc woman.
I tried an Orc as a sterotypical 2h warrior with heavy armor and smithing, i was bored by level 15 tbh. I think if your going the warrior route, that suits the Orc's lore but you can be any race to do anything. I'd go with sword & board or dual wield for a more interesting style of combat.
