Since I can't play Imperial I've been thinking about playing the Nord or Orc race, the most manliest races.

But who is the best warrior/tank?

I think that Orcs have better amour so they can take more damage, so I'll use a sword and shield for extra protection. I believe that Nords can cause more damage, so I'll use a huge hammer to slam things and focus less on defense. Is this correct? If not please tell me their strenghts and weaknesses as warriors and which one of them are the strongest warrior race?

Technically speaking from lore, the most naturally talented warriors in all of Tamriel are actually the Redguard.

Norcs, unquestionably.

I would encourage you to pick the Orcish race. Even though Nords have their "pluss"-sides, the Nords are far too reckless. The Orcs do at least have a very strict culture to follow. They are also more suited for the purpose: They're stronger, taller, more repulsive and frightning than any Nord. The only thing the Nords have that the Orcs do not have is beauty, rarely however, and versatility.
