Ore into Ingots : V

I find the whole crafting quite fun in the game, especially the lumber mill. However I have got a bit stuck on my metal working and can't seem to be able to craft ore into ingots. Is that a perk on the smithing skill tree or is there a 'foundry' that I have yet to discover?

Need to use an ore smelter. There isn't one in every city though.

You have to find a smelter. You can usually find one near mines.

You need to use a smelter. I've been using the one in Whiterun, it's the tall round thing near the entrance.

Yeah like others have said you need a smelter. There's one next to one of the mines in Dawnstar.
