Orsinium - Absolutely horrible idea

Post » Thu Nov 22, 2012 2:03 am

i honestly would actually like an Orsinium just as i would any other of the realms. but i think it should be a stand alone game. i would love to check out any of these! but like i said i think all of these would make great games but i think they should stand by themselves...

and i don't appreciate you bashing other's opinions. that's not going to get you very far...i've only been here about a week and i know that...

I couldn't disagree with you more...i do not wish to go back to cyrodil at all and would much rather go forward to orsinium or another small untouched province as they can't fit an entire large province in a dlc

Vampires have played a fairly big role in Skyrim and Oblivion as well. It's a disease actually - Not really ''vampirism'' if you can call it that. Someoen get's effected and end up sick - it's like any other sickness really(with a few up and down sides such as having to feed on people etc like cannibalism)
Your lack of lore knowledge removes all validity from your threads argument.

I wouldn't write off Orsinium as a potentially worthwhile destination based on Skyrim's Orc strongholds. That would be like, playing Bloodmoon and deciding Skyrim wouldn't be worth seeing because everything would be like Skaal village . They could also give Cyrodiil a face-lift, but the difference in detail from Oblivion to now wouldn't enable nearly as big of a change as a place that was last seen in Daggerfall.

Why in the hell would you make DLC based around the civil war quest line when most people are tackling DLC after they've completed it? Dawnguard had nothing to do with the civil war, Dragonborn will have nothing to do with the civil war...why? Because the civil war could be done and over with by the time you start them. Use some common sense, man.

I could hug you right about now.

Except for the fact that you changed your name so it doesn't get censored when your posts are quoted anymore. That makes me sad.

On topic: Well played OP, nice troll thread.

Considering how poorly represented Cyrodill actually was in Oblivion, I'd only like to see it implemented if it was accurate to the lore this time.

Not everyone wants a DLC to relate to the pointless civil war I'm getting tired of the same old same old I crave adventure and we exotic lands. This post made me want to drill a whole in my head the ignorance of some people... We all are entitled to our own wants when it comes to games

mmh, yes Because Vampires have everything to do with the Rebellion, how about you stop acting like a ****** and just propose your idea instead of whatever the heck that was. this is why fishy sticks aren't given to random new comers.

oh and great way to start off your first interactions on this forum, you won't last long with that attitude. leave that garbage outside because this forum at least has some deficiency
This.get off the forums with your pointless rants this one of those sites wear we don't act like squealing 5 year olds. Nice first impression.

Stop promoting a dlc based on Orsinium as it's completely irrelevant to Skyrim and it's conflicts - It makes no bloody sense!

Who gives a rats butt(pardon my language) about a bloody orc kingdom(if you can even call it a ''kingdom'' more like a bone/wood fortress, bah)? I don't see a connection between some orcs and Skyrim and it's conflicts between the Imperial Legion and the Stormcloaks and the lousy orcs?

Are the orcs suddenly a part of the rebellion now? The Orcish Stormgreens and Gruk'tar Greencloak have allied themselfs with the Stormcloaks? They seek to reform an alliance against the Imperial Legion. The orcs are now brothers with the Nords? Really? Is this what you had in mind? Lack of imagination I'd say as this this completely ridiculous.

So many good possibilities and you want this.. nonsense? Stop spewing this gibberish out! We could be given a dlc based on Cyrodiil. Now you might think that we already had Oblivion but keep in mind that this is 200 years after! Cyrodiil is a completely new land now and it has changed drastically. The Emperor would take a step into the conflicts as the Stormcloaks were getting out of hand etc.. The Blades could play a bigger part in it now too since they'd expand their horizon and be able to return to Cyrodiil where they'd find allies etc.. The Nords would try to invade Cyrodiil while the Imperials tries to conquer Skyrim.

There is even a road to Cyrodiil on our maps in Skyrim! If you however try to walk through it, it's blocked. With this dlc it would be opened and Horse caravans would be travelling though it! It's a brilliant idea!

Not to mention that Cyrodiil is a great sight. Who wouldn't want to visit the Imperial City? The gorgeous towns? Cheydinhal? Kvatch? Anvil? And Bruma to name a few? They'd be remade! Imagine what it'd look like today with newer engines, graphics, details etc..

You'd be insane to want some damned orc gibberish instead of this...

Orsinium, High Rock and that area is actually very relevant to Skyrim. They have been enemies/fighting for hundreds of years. Skyrim could help return Orsinium to the Orcs, because in the early fourth era it was sacked again by Hammerfell and High Rock.

Just think before you post, just because you can't decide Orsinium is bad just because you don't like Orcs

False. Even the designers admitted to having to downsize and have less forested areas due to limitations with memory consolidation. How about you do some research before making a smartalic comment on a topic you know literally *nothing* about. It also might save you from looking like a taint.

And let me guess, you also think Van Buren was the best Fallout game ever...

Nah, I'm pretty sure they went back and made Talos change Cyrodill from jungles to forests. That pretty much gave them a window retcon the [censored] out of Cyrodiil.
