'other' vampirism questions

Post » Sat Jun 02, 2012 4:06 am

i tried posting this on an inferior forum and they didn't really sound confident in what they were saying so i'm trying here:

**possible spoilers ahead**

i've searched and i can't find the answer anywhere so i thought i'd ask all of you.....

i want to know how many times the game will let you cure yourself after becoming a stage 4 vampire. (i just put stage 4 to reiterate that i mean a vampire, not the disease leading to becoming a vampire)

i know becoming a werewolf cures vampirism so, can you become a werewolf more than once? if so, can i cure being a werewolf more than once?

can i get falion to do the 'rising at dawn' quest more than once?

one last thing too, is there are bug like in oblivion where your character's appearance is permanently altered despite being cured?

the ultimate goal would be to sometimes be a vampire and sometimes not

thanks for the help

You can only become a Werewolf once. Once cured, you can never become a Werewolf again.

You can become a Vampire and cure yourself as many times as you like.

This is a good question. I've been considering becoming a vampire on my Khajiit assassin.

You can only become a Vampire and be cured once. Feeding to reduce you to Lvl 1 from Lvl 4 is not curing, it's suppressing.
You can only become a Werewolf and be cured once.

I was a vampire for a long time, cured it and haven't been able to catch it since. Haven't purposefully tried but I've fought some vampires but no disease, so but sure!

There is at least 2 cures for full-blown vampirism, the quest line is one and becoming a werewolf is the other. Sorry I can't be of more help though.

/e Wait, just read in my official Skyrim guide book that you can do this quest over and over, and he even has a new black soul gem for you to buy each time.

I love playing as a Vampire in Skyrim, but for some Quests/actions it's just damn inconvenient... I've contracted, and had it go into full blown Vampirism something like 20 times now in my game (Dunmer Assassin), and when I need to cure it to make a Quest slightly easier, I keep taking a Black Soul Gem back to the guy in Morthal and getting cured. When the difficulty is over, I head back to North Shriekwind Bastion and contract it all over again.

*sigh* I loves me some Vampirism...

i have done it, it just seems that after u get cured for some reason it seems harder to 'catch" the desease again and also i believe the quest giver is not in the same place all the time. he moves around a bit or u cant find him until u hear from an innkeeper about him again.
