Am I one of the few who is having very little problems with the UI and such?

I had to do some key rebinding for direction movement and that was about it, the keyboard and mouse has been working wlel thus far, though graphics are sometimes odd but robbly cause like normal ait will have to do drivers for a game again.

Just curious is all and nice work on skyrim dev been enjoying it thus far.

Go read the PC subsection... You're in the "minority".

Or you're real good at tolerating the horrid "console port" of a UI and all the other simplified crap that comes along with it.

PC is difficult to program for because of the variety of hardware. But Bethesda didn't even make half the effort most indie devs do. So what if you're not having problems? Lots of other folks are.

Why is that so hard to believe?

The UI isn't bad if you use the keyboard. The problem is that us PC gamers do not usually use the keyboard to go through menus. We need to be able to click without selected menu items getting "stuck" because of poor porting.

The mouse has been working really for me, just trying to figure out what is different about my stuff so I can give help to other gamers. Or are these problems hit or miss?

The UI works for me just fine. I am not sure I like it yet, but I have not had any issues so far.

The mouse only works for certain rigs, it's obvious. No one navigates menus exclusively with keys, that's f*cking ridiculous. Players should be given the option of using mouse or keys. Games were doing this over ten years ago. There is no excuse for this lazy-ass bullsh*t programming.

I had to use a 3rd party utility in order to make half of the numpad keys bindable. That, and the implementation of the mouse in menus, etc. is terribad.

But, I got out of the initial area and out into the world, and it seems fantastic and full of life. The UI does feel half-baked to me though.
