Over Encumbered Bug?

Post » Fri Jul 27, 2012 5:24 am

Often, I find that I will be close to my weight carrying limit and then after disarming myself, the game tells me that I am over encumbered. Only seconds ago, I was 2 points under my limit. What's that all about?

If you unequip some items who are giving you extra stamina or carrying points, it might happen. Be sure to check if that may be the issue.

From what I understand, the weight of anything you have equipped is removed from your carry weight. For instance, if I'm at 349/350 carry weight, and I unequip my 3(kilo?) boots, suddenly I'm over-encumbered.

Isn't that only if you have the perk for it?

Really? Weird. U'd think that anything you have on your person other than ammo or quest items would count as weight. Anyway, thanks for the help.

I think that perk refers to the added stamina cost of running in armor, and not the weight value of it. Not too sure, don't go that far on armor perk trees often.

This is true things you have equipped have no weight value and if you unequip an item you will be over encumbered its odd if you ask me.
