I had great hopes for this game. I was actually able to play through the first 30 minutes or so. It had its crashes, but I just started it back up and kept on playing. Until I got the Lt Hayes' tent. As soon as I'd try to enter, BOOM, crash to desktop. I pulled up all the new info and work arounds and stuff and still no progress. I put about 4 good hours into modifying files and updating drivers. Then a great calm came over me and I deleted this wretched piece of code that it supposed to be a game. This game reminds me of that old Ultima single player game that no one was able to get working, forget what it is now. I have asked for my money back, but I doubt that will happen. If it doesn't I'm going to chargeback on my credit card.

You got further than I did, I'm still in the first town trying everything under the sun to get crossfire to work (without using the d3d9.dll trick). I waited in great anticipation over the days then hours until it was released here and since I've spent all my play time working on it rather than playing it Which is fine because if it's this much fun just working on it, I can't wait to actually play it. Which reminds me to bring in the HD textures from Fallout 3 and see how many can port over.
