Ok so I finished the game with the Minutemen ending. I had Danse with the bombs for the Liberty Reprimed mission, but it turns out I went with the Minutemen ending so Liberty Reprimed mission failed. Danse is now at the Prydwen and when I try to talk to him so I can bring him with me as my companion he just says normal lines like huh? yes? soldier? Nice to have someone to have you back Nice to have someone I can always trust. It will not let me talk to him at all, he ignores me. I want him to be my companion again, but since he's ignoring me I can't bring him. I can't reload a past save, I've done too much after completing the game to go back. Someone please help me I want him to be my companion.

Definitely a glitch, your condition is so specific that I don't think Beth accounted for it since the chained quest is related to his personal quest. Now that you failed the quest, his personal quest is not activated, and the Minutemen ending assumed you did his personal quest, and so if he's still at the Prydwen, there is likely a conflict in coding. Sorry about that, replay the game and finish his personal quest is the only solution at this point.

Well darn. I'm not willing to restart so I guess I lost Danse :'(
