I also think it has something to do with the Thalmors, since in their documents you have to steal for the MQ state very clearly that they were trying to bust Ulfric Stormcloak out. Maybe they insisted on alphabetical order? :P

As an elf myself, I take offense to this. I make this elf suit look GOOD!!!

So, the Elf looks like Khajiit? Blasphemy.

if ultric was beheaded first, before the dragon attacked, then the civil war would have ended. But tullius prolly didnt expect a dragon to come, so he may decide to kill all the stormcloaks before ulfric's eyes, then send him to the void. Pretty dumb move i think....

Hardly, Khajiit is ugly and smells like a dirty litter box.

More blasphemy. Khajiit are renown for bathing. The Elf is... Well, the Elf is tragic, overrated, and pitiful at best. J'rahzir shall mourn the loss of the Elf... Loss of what? Of dignity.

Good point, but still Tulius is an Idiot for letting his chance slip away.

I understand the argument, but in Tullius's defense, the dragon attack was fairly unforeseeable.

Y'know I found myself thinking this same thing at one point. Like... Why did they have Ulfric constrained? he was just kind of standing there at the edge of the crowd and they don't even bother to kill him off first? The Legion takes out a Stormcloak and some petty thief and they plan on killing your character right after. I would imagine, that by killing the so highly regarded leader infront of a handful of his own men, it'd demoralize them for the last time. I found it pretty strange.

I guesse the legion wanted to save dessert for last.

To which I say, "Life is uncertain; eat dessert first." Obviously, had Tullius eaten dessert first, of course, we wouldn't have this game. A different game.... perhaps.

Well I guess Tullius had to let his axeman get a few swings in to warm up before Ulfric. He may have been dismissive, but deep down such dismissiveness can be costly.

So in Sonja's case, she'd stolen a shipment of skooma from a gang of Khajiit in Cyrodiil and had been chased over the border into Skyrim and got nicked right outside of Ulfric's camp because some stupid horse thief showed up with a few guards in pursuit, and the guards just happened to know about her, too. She'd murdered the Khajiit and a couple of constables and almost had gotten away until then. Sad. What a waste. Such a promising career ahead. She had a lab waiting for her too. So as they say, "heads will roll." But for some reason she wasn't on the list, and there was no trial.

Alduin was the steel chair shot.

None of them are angels. No one who rises to a position of power like High King is an angel. No one who rules an empire is an angel. There is no good or evil in this game. Even Alduin serves a purpose.
