LOL the parkour can stay in that crappy game, it has no place in a game like skyrim.

Because it's TES, not your favourite anime. Keep flashy, useless crap out of the game please.

How can a shout allowing you to breath fire be powerful..? You're kidding right? Considering that the majority of portrayals about dragon fire is that it deals heavy magical damage as well as burning it's target... yeah...

parkour is awsome (and is actually realistic for you nay sayers) but it would not work well with the shortage of buttons, and the fire shout will shoot a very very very very inteanse blast of heat that normal fire spells would not be able to do (which means more damage)

IMO a parkour system can't be done with any real justice unless its a core feature. If it isn't then there's a good chance it wouldn't recieve the attention it would need to be implemented well.

parkour was practically already a feature, remember how high you could jump in Oblivion if you leveled your acrobat skill? You could jump so high you could jump onto houses, and you could pretty much make your own parkour lines from there.

Also attributes, and athletic and acrobat skills are out in Skyrim, so Oblivion style parkour won't be part of the game.

parkour is stupid anyway.

Probably because the engine wouldn't be able to handle it, well, it probably could but it wouldn't look that good.

It depends on what level the fire shout is, remember, you have 3 different levels of each shout.

Just give me good jump physics and i'll be happy, although id like to make one point: In oblivion, you were able to jump across water with master of acrobatics, it would be interesting to be able to do the same thing with surfaces, like a wall jump. Nothing flashy and over the top that would break the engine, just a little extra boost when climbing.

Parkour is a fancy way to say you are good at running, jumping, and climbing. I fail to see how that would not fit in any open world game.

I wish athletics/acrobatics and climbing were back in.

It would remind me too much of Assassins Creed.

Not saying that as a bad thing though, and not saying that as a good thing either...

Without an Athletics or Acrobatics skill, wall jumping is kind of not exactly practical.

It'd be totally up a Khajiit's alley, though. Maybe in the inevitable Elsweyr game?

I love Bethesda, but I only trust the games from BGS and Todd Howard's team. The games that bethesda sponsor are hit and miss. I played Brink and it was not a great game, especially compare to other online team fps. For god's sake, TF2 is better than that game. Anyways, the world of TES would not call for Parkour.

That would be a cool addition for a stealth assassin character. A talented modding team might be able to do something like that since this engine has a lot better animation potential.
