Patch 2.02 fixes ?

Hi

I installed the patch v2.02 last night and have been playing for another 10+ hrs to see what is addressed from Bethesda's list, this is from a prior saved game, of over 300hrs

?Magic resistances

Nope: Big issue this I have armour and enchantments which make my Flame resistance over 100%, which worked againt dragons, I could stand in the blast and fire arrows or spells with a very small wobble of my health - Now dragon turned up breathed fire just caught slightly in the flame, dead in 3 seconds huh ???

Additional: Fire resistance did not work against an ancient dragon(thought these may have something other than fire), they don't according to the big guide I bought with Skyrim, and I have just come up against another ancient dragon, and the resistance worked ok this time.

?Bookshelves

Nope: Sorry bookshelve still don't let me retrieve my books or add other books

?Weapon racks

Yep: I didn't have or seem to have any Weapon rack issues, but my armor (Glass and Ebony) on the manequins was invisible - now they are visible yipeee :celebration:
actually no as the manequins are back to being invisible again, nothing changed just renetered proudspire manor and gone ?

?Strange Dragon behavoiur
Nope: Dragon's now invisible(or more common going in and out of state), Dragon's appearing everywhere, after killing one another dove in to take its place, and more annoying Dragons turned up in most towns travelled to (more below) :brokencomputer:

?Strange NPC behaviour
Nope: This seems actually worse than before, prior to the patch a dragon attacked outside a town, the guards were using bows and the Khajit merchants ran for it. Since this update, in another town a dragon attacked, not many guards came, but women and men without armour or bows and only daggers attacked the dragon !!, and of course they all got to leave skyrim :obliviongate: , and unfortunately two of these people were needed for a quest, not any more :swear:

?File size increases
Don't know about this one yet, my file size is around 14mb

I did notice that when I first loaded the game after the patch, I fast travelled to solitude and the loading screen just kept going, it hadn't froze, as the item was still moving and moveable, and I could bring up the PS3 menu, I left this for 20mins still loading ?, went downstairs made a coffee and did the dishes, still loading, this carried on for an hour, I then quit the game, and turned everything off restarted and haven't encountered this issue again.

If you read around you will see that it is seemingly necessary to restart the entire game to get the most out of the patches.

If you do not, most broken things will remain broken.

I understand that not restarting will leave boken quests broken, but that does not explain the behaviour, as for the bookshelve don't care, weapon racks don't care they can lie on the floor. However I do care that since the patch the AI for NPC's and Dragon's has broken, and my enchanted artifacts no longer work.

And I am not restarting a game after 300+ hrs of playing, the game saves should have nothing to do with the AI, Performance of the engine, quests and inventory yes, but not gameplay

Well if you saved a game where your character had zero magic resistance and then loaded that saved game your character would still have zero magic resistance. svcks that it works that way, but it's fairly common in video games that to receive all the benefits of a patch a new game must be started.

The magic resistance and fortifications got fixed properly for a lot of players (looking at the 360 forum) without restarting. So maybe try taking off all your equipment and putting it back on.

Slight update on this, the Fire resistance seems to be working against mages, and some Dragons, however it appears that 'Ancient Dragons' breath fire which isn't affected ?
