Patch (offline)

Is there any place to download the latest patch on the net that does not require taking my ps3 on-line, as I only use a dongle for my net on the pc and have no internet option for my ps3 as have no broadband.
If not can I throw a temper tantrum, cause it will really tick me off :(

A little bit of freezing and three crashes and only had the game a day, nothing that is worse than fo3 so far. But if what I have been reading is true it seems like it won't be to long before I do experience problems.

One thing that baffles me is how a big company like this can basically get away with releasing and selling faulty goods, oblivion wasn't to bad till you ran into the bug of death after 300hrs or so, fallout 3 crashed so many times it was a joke and the goty version is just unplayable due to constant lock ups graphics and gameplay glitches, and now new vegas is apparently worse? isn't this against trade descriptions act somehow if they don't fix it, and if they can't fix the problems (not just for pc as they usually do but consoles as well) then how legally can they get away with it.
Just curious.

No, sorry, to patch a console game you must usually connect it to the web. What kinda of dongle are you using? It is a wi-fi access dongle or something like a laptop 4G access card? If you are using a wi-fi dongle then I promise you that you can set up your PS3 to get that signal.

Why bother, the patch is a joke. If you have had any freezing issues, I can tell you from my experience with this new patch that it didn't do anything to resolve it.

Why would you even bother to say this? Just to be a troll? Hey OP I have been playing this game since midnight the day it came out and neither my wife nor I have had ANYWHERE near the issues that some people on these boards complain about. Some people get them, some don't just like FO3. The game ISN'T broken in general it just needs this patch to fix some issues. Patches FTW!!!!

I had virtually no issues with FO3 but, NV was chalked full of bugs, glitches, and crashes. I'm not going to even download the patch because I know it won't help. And Patches FTL! Patches half the time are just an excuse for devs to get lazy and release broken games and fix them later. I don't think he was being a troll he was just angry like me and many others about the quality of this game.

Its a standard wi-fi o2 dongle pay as you go. I have no idea on how to configure the signal any pointers on this would help.
And as my game hasn't started crashing about yet maybe the patch will work better for myself.

Okay done some googling and tried to get the dongle to work with ps3, and I keep getting the infamous 80710102 error, I have tried setting dns primary and secondary to recommended 4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.3 and the 208.67.222.222 + 208.67.220.220 settings, I got my i.p address right and got Ethernet cable selected, allow other users to connect to network everything and still can't connect, if I try manual it still comes back with the 807 error, and if i try easy it says can't obtain I.p ad
