PLEASE make a patch to drop / store quest related items after the quest is complete!!!!!!
I`m fed up of carting round 2 elder scrolls, Gallius`s journal etc. etc.

Have you tried giving the elder scrolls to the old orc called Urag gro-Shub in the Arcanaeum in the College of Winterhold? That's how I got rid of my elderscroll (in all it's 20lb glory) after finishing the main quest.

You can sell the Elder Scrolls to the Orc in Winterhold or the Moth Priest from Dawnguard.

Have you tried giving the elder scrolls to the old orc called Urag gro-Shubin the Arcanaeum in the College of Winterhold? That's how I got rid of my elderscroll (in all it's 20lb glory) after finishing the main quest.

Quest items do not weigh anything so it's not that bad though. It says 20 but it is really 0.

Tried that I could give him the dragon scroll, not the additional two from Dawnguard

I bought it from Urag for Dawnguard, but I COULD NOT sell it back. So yes, you still end up with an elder scroll if you buy it from him.

Like i said, the Moth priest will buy them.

Moth priest only buys ONE of them. You'll still be stuck with one because Urag doesn't buy it back if you bought it from him.
