I remember reading that we might get a patch this week? Is this correct? Hope they patch teh PC to make it use 4 gb

The only patch I've heard about is coming in January.

They planned (only planned, not promised or guaranteed etc.) an update for the PC to make the executable large address aware, they've since said it's still being tested. Better safe than sorry.
