On one of my many wanderings through Skyrim I came across a Giant leading a cow that had blue markings on it. At the time I thought to myself, "Heh, Paul Bunyan. Awesome Easter Egg Bathesda ." I figured after my play session I would finally get FRAPS onto this machine and go back and record him.

Unfortunately after a couple of side quests and random dungeon crawls I forgot where I saw this NPC at. I thought maybe in between Riverwood and Whiterun, or in between Ivarstead and Windhelm. After spending a couple of hours going back to old saves, and wandering some more in Skyrim, I've yet to see him again . Checking the image files(to make sure I wasn't seeing things) I did find the texture 'highlandcowpaint', so I know the blue cow exists. At this point I don't know if the NPC is random, or maybe a lvl dependent random npc, etc.

So has anyone else seen Skyrim's Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox?

I have not seen that one, but there are a lot of fun little things out there in the world.

I once saw a sad giant standing next to a dead mammoth.
I couldnt interact with him but he wasnt agressive either.
He just stood by that dead mammoth making sad noises.

Sorry, after the first three times a giant bashed my head in with a single hit, I kinda cast first, ask questions later.

I've come across an ox wondering outside of whiterun, its got strange markings all over it. Its actually right in front of me, i paused the game to see if i should kill it or if its part of a quest.

Edit: i followed the ox to this giants camp, which is just a tad west of bleakwood basin, on the map its like a centimeter west of the octopus looking symbol.
