PCB Needed?

Post » Tue Oct 09, 2012 3:26 pm

So I was wondering if it would help if Skyrim had PCB being ran every 10 minutes, I'm asking because it really helped FNV from slugging down overtime. (http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/36805)

I ported the PCB mod from FNV to Skyrim and it seems to work, well in terms of no crashes.

What do you think guys, could a proper PCB mod help the game?

I might release this port.

How did you do this? As far as I know, there's no PCB command available in Papyrus (even with SKSE) -- it's only available in the console.

My bad, my mind is almost mush right now.

Actually there's the command "Purge Cell Buffers" which seems to work and is accepted in game, so it seems possible to run this everyten minutes via script.

Except it isn't, because Papyrus doesn't have any access to the console.

I'm not accessing the console via Papyrus, I'm using an inbuilt Papyrus command spelled exactly "Purge Cell Buffers", not the PCB console command. I run some Papyrus debugging and it doesn't throw any errors and any unknown commands.

Imma test this more.

That's not a function call.

Can you please post your code?
