Penalties of the Genetically Damned

What traits do you have physically/internally that you think you were condemned, or unfortunately have?

I have horrible acne, ADHD, social awkwardness, short term memory loss, and severe depression. :unsure2:

What about you?

Well... I'm prone to alcoholism because both of my grandfathers were alcoholics... I have an enlarged heart... that's all that sticks out

I have incredibly flat feet, so much so that when I last went to a doctor about it he was amazed that I played any sports and worked on my feet all day. It can be hard to fully explain the pain to people. I can run for maybe 5-10 minutes before the pain becomes too much and I have to limp around. Orthotics don't seem to help either.

That is another thing I do. I go over something I have done or didn't do, or something that may not happen that I want to happen and make myself feel like crap.

Yep, and I just remembered he also said I have Dependant traits as well. Physically I'm fine save for a bad knee from an accident 6-7 years back. But mentally? I'm probably more messed up than Sheogorath.

Oh boy, let's see.

I'm allergic/immune to, or adversely affected by, virtually every medicine I've been exposed to.
I'm nearsighted, have almost no depth perception, and am extremely sensitive to light.
Exercise doesn't "work" for me. The physical effort never gets easier, I never get stronger, and I either produce no or am not affected by endorphins, meaning the entire process is fantastically unpleasant from beginning to end. When I stuck to a routine for a long time the only side-effect was that my blood pressure went up.
My digestive system is faulty and doctors can't seem to figure out why. I basically can't eat anything without feeling sick, no matter how mild.
My hair fell out when I was 8.
I have a rather potent arrhythmia.
Prone to headaches, migraines, fainting, and vomiting.
If they count, ADD, autism, chronic severe depression, anhedonia, heavily impaired reality testing.
I'm lucky to sleep 6 hours a night.
I burn like a gasoline thief in hell, and between that and my ocular light sensitivity, have panic attacks in direct sunlight.
My joints, especially my back, are in constant pain. I crack and pop louder than my grandfather.

And as far as "genetically damned" goes, I'm pretty much the only person in my family with any of these problems.

I inherited my father side of the family big butts and thighs(they can be tone but it takes almost forever to see progress)
I have my mom teeth gap
I inherited my grandma long nails(god rest her soul)
I can gain weight easily, but it makes it hard to lose it as well.

So far no major flaws.

Tendency for alcoholism
Crappy hair (it's why I have a permanent buzz cut)
Short sighted, but it's not that bad
A strong tendency for rheumatism
I wouldn't say my eyes are sensitive to light, because I can get used to it, but I'm WAY more comfortable in the dark
I may also be schizophrenic... but I don't believe a word of it though :shifty:
Oh and allergies (but they seem to be going away)

Short (average in some countries but mainly short: 5' 8)
Hairy (could always wax, but it would be way better to not be as hairy)
Thick eyebrows (have to do them regularly or they become a total mess)
Airy, hollow, high pitched voice (I thought puberty would fix it. It's better than before but not gone)
Minor case of ADD
Horrible fat deposit placement (gone now, but if it comes back, the fat will be stored in the worst spots)
Limited vocal range
Unappealing facial aesthetics
Certain joints have next to no flexibility
Knock kneed
Stretch marks (though that's not really genetic)
Trouble putting on pectoral mass
Cant run or jog for as long due to knock knees
Dark skin (while I mentioned in the other thread that I like it, some may view it as a flaw. Especially since most in my family are fair skinned)

List probably goes on but this one is far more depressing than the other thread... Boo. :(

I'm going back to the other one so I can feel good about myself again.

I had a teeth gap, but some braces cleared that up nicely.

I do not gain weight easily. This has been pointed out many times, but this cuts both ways - I can eat whatever the hell I want, but I cannot gain any visible muscle by working out.

I also have somewhat weak nails, am somewhat allergic, am a bit socially awkward, and am somewhat vain.

I have Ramesses II's nose.
I always thought hooked noses were cool...

Other than a cosmetic case of pectus excavatum and being endomorphic, I was born with Horner's syndrome and I also only sweat on the left half of my face/head.

Me & you share this bizzare trait. I consider it more of a blessing personally.
