People telling me I look ill? : V

Every time I go to a town NPC's are always telling me I look ill. Am I suffering from a spell of some sort? If so, how do I check it/get rid of it?

Check your Magic menu to see was disease you have.

I think it's because your a dark elf?

IIRC, you can check them in the Magic menu, under Active Effects or something like that.

To see all current positive and negative effects on your character go to Magic - Current Effects (of something like this)

yeah I kept getting told that aswell. and I wasn't deceased at the time . mayb not sleeping for ages has an effect on u aswell ?

I'm a nord and i don't have any diseases and i still get that all the time. Other thing i get is "Is that fur.... Growing out of your ear?".

It's in the Magic Menu and it's "Active Effects".

This is very important to check on a regular basis and IMMEDIATELY after any battle with a Vampire.

Failure to do so may cause you to keep playing with reduced stats or worse yet, transform into an undead creature of the night.

You're playing a Dark Elf right? I think that's all it is. I've never been diseased and I've been hearing this from the very beginning of the game.

Something I have noticed, in addition to people saying "You look ill.", is that they'll sometimes say "You look tired." when you haven't slept in a bed. I try to always sleep in a bed to get that rested bonus!

Recommend the shrines as they are free and in every city. have some potions for emergency use

I am a dark elf and every time I hear them comment, I have Rockjoint. You get Rockjoint from fighting animals mainly, like bears and other bigger animals. I have gotten it twice in 18 hours of play.

This reminds me of the very first time I came out of the sewers at the start of Oblivion and within a couple minutes I had contacted 2 diseases.

I just fought two skeevers and then walked into an Inn where a guy said 'you don't look too good' and I checked and I had witbane. I have never heard anybody say this unless I did have a disease.
