people with general anxiety

how often do you experience it?

what triggers it?

is it worse in the daytime or at night?

how do you treat it?

--

i get it all day everyday. usually starts within the first 30 minutes after waking up, nothing in particular triggers it, just the thought about being anxious can bring it on. its a lot worse for me during the daytime (something to do with the brightness, i dont know why) i also get fatigued so i power nap during the day and have resorted to sleeping on the bathroom floor where it is shaded. sometimes i dont treat it i just ride it out, or sometimes i will use alcohol or benzo's but i abuse them so i run out fast. or try to keep myself busy eg playing games.

just curious

Visit a doctor. Asking for medical advice on a gaming forum isn't the best course of action.

I agree with this. Armchair diagnosing for medical conditions is not good and best left to those qualified. The only "advice" someone here should really give you is see a doctor

Why does Ceiling Cat have one red eye.

Maybe you should stop thinking about being anxious and then you won't be anxious.
Sensible answer - See a doctor.
Manly answer - Punch a bear, if you do this you will have overcome every obsticle you have ever faced, and given you escape you will have even defeated a bear!

Don't think the cat's looking for advice - just if anyone else gets it.

I get hormonally triggered anxiety. But it's pretty damn infrequent so doesn't bother me too much. When it does though ANYTHING sets me off. :(

That was my reading of it, too.

Women, hormones, triggers. The time when all smart men hide in fear.

Well times I get something close to anxiety is near exams but its only for a short period when I find out the date, then I brainwash myself if the confidence that I will pass.
A rather bad time I got it was when I took 2 weeks holiday from works and ended up so anxious about going back I only got 3 hours sleep the night before.

how often do you experience it? Not often
what triggers it? Temporary/irrational fear
is it worse in the daytime or at night? Depends on the scenario - usually daytime
how do you treat it? Ignorance and a quick reassurance that I'm great.

Don't come to a Gaming website looking for Medical Advice.

Go to a Psychiatric Website and do some research. Then, make an appointment with a counselor or other mental health professional.
