So my brother told me that Pepsi is bringing back Crystal Pepsi.

Lo and behold..

I don't remember Crystal Pepsi and I have no nostalgia for the 90's, so this is wasted on me.

It was clear, but otherwise tasted just like regular Pepsi. I think the only reason colas in general are dark is because they add caramel coloring to it. I could be wrong about that though.

I'm a Doctor Pepper man all the way. For me, it's the nectar of the gods.

I've actually found a gas station near me that sells Slurm---I mean Surge. I didn't like it when it first came out but I guess they changed the formula or got a better Queen Worm cause it's great now.

Crystal Pepsi! I knew about this already, but this reminder only brings out the itching impatience caused by extended waiting.

The best caffeinated beverage that I've had was the various Jolt colas that came in the large 23.5 oz "battery bottles".

Omg. I used to drink Jolt Cola while on guard duty in the Marine Corps. I was so wired I could hear an ant walk 50 feet away. :D

I was just born during the time Crystal Pepsi was a thing in the eary 90s so I can't really think much of it. Stopped drinking soda altogether about a year ago, but when I was an avid drinker (to an excessively unhealthy extent) my go to soda was Sprite.

I'll probably try it. Pepsi's my favorite of the colas.

I still have to try that 1893 stuff, or whatever it's called.

Same here. I mainly drink water and teas now. I'll have Sprite when out and on my long 4 day weekends I'll buy a letter of mountain dew for some late night gaming. The letter lasts me at least three of those days.

I like pepsi but i like the canned ones not the ones in 3 litter bottles or 2 litter bottles as well as Coca cola i like canned. For some reason i just don't like the bottled ones its like they change the flavor or something. Maybe it's the plastic? ... i dunno.

Same here as well.

Throw in a pot of coffee in the morning and again, same here. Then it's tea and water for the rest of the day.

I just had a my first sip of a friends 7-Up the other day after years of not drinking pop. I don't miss it.

So this news has no bearing on me. Though I guess I'm a bit curious as to how well it will be received/play out.

what was that Pepsi that had a little cinnamon taste? I liked it and was buying a case for a buck at a close out place for a while.

I didn't like 7-Up even when I still drank soda, especially compared to Sprite.

Nowadays, I don't really drink soda but the occasional Dr. Pepper and root beer. Last I had Coke, I realized how unpleasant the taste was.

This.

However, I still love Mountain Dew. I'm glad one of my favorite places to eat at serves both products.

Like I said earlier I drink the ocasional Sprite and a mountain dew every now and then. But I will go absolutely bonkers for a good rootbeer or cream soda. Something about those two, it's like going back to a simpler time.

Has anyone here (who is old enough) tried the root beers with alcohol in them?

Yeah, it's very sweet, as you can probably imagine. Definitely not something I'd want to drink a lot of. It is, however, awesome when poured over vanilla ice cream.
