first, I,ll post my PC specs in case it makes a difference (...though we all know it really doesn't, because RAGE is simply the product of bad software engineering)

-4Gb DDR3 RAM
-Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 @ 2.8Ghz w/ integrated NVIDIA Geforce 9400m video card
- Duel 1 Gb NVIDIA Geforce 260m video cards

Like hundreds of thousands of other customers, I immediately experienced terrible 'texture popping.' I realized that RAGE had turned off my duel video cards and was trying to run on my weak integrated video card. So I turn on my video cards, and what happens? I get NOTHING BUT A BLACK SCREEN.

I have utilized various 'Launch Option' codings, which made no difference whatsoever

I tried using various config. files, which made absolutely no difference.

I ensured that my video cards have the latest (OFFICIAL) drivers...nevertheless, the game still says my 'drivers are out of date' <***HINT***>

I tried using the Battlefield 3 beta driver, which resulted in everything being covered in a blue tint, so I rolled back to the newest official NVIDIA driver.



...Let's face it - we all know the real issue: Bethesda used unofficial, as-of-yet unreleased BETA drivers to develop the game - they refuse to acknowlege this blatant fact, and shoveled all responsibility to the video card manufacturers.

I contacted NVIDIA, who claims that a fix will be released by the end of the month with the next official driver releases...we'll see

UPDATE: so I see that RAGE deosn't support SLI...can I turn off SLI, but use my 260m instead of the crappy integrated 9400m?
