Perk Tree Spreadsheet

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 7:54 am

I'm sure someone has made a better one, but here's a fairly basic one to play with. I have very basic knowledge of using spreadsheets. I know they can do some amazing stuff. You will not find that here.

Based off http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?%2Ftopic%2F1250101-layout-of-perk-trees%2F info

Doesn't have perks descriptions, but does have perk requirements(Skill and Prerequisite Perk)

Basic to use, put a 1 next to the perks you want, and it will auto add them up and give you the total perks you selected, it will also tell you how many perks you chose for each skill and also each type(Stealth, Combat and Magic).

[EDIT] I've updated it to include descriptions of the perks. So when you hover the mouse over the perk a little bubble should pop up with the description.[/EDIT]

Hopefully useful to someone.

I run Ubuntu OS on my desktop and used Open Office to make the spreadsheet. I believe it would be compatible with Microsoft Office?

You must of been bored, but very nicely done, I like the way there organized, and I really like the way you made use of the math functions, pretty cool to see the counters add up as you select them.

Maybe slightly bored yes :) And got health issues that prevent me from sleeping. Also got tired of doing it by hand and counting the perks, then fiddling, then recounting. This made it easier to play around with different builds. Had it pretty basic before with just the skills I was planning to use(no color, no descriptions just the counter and perks) then figured I could share it, so I added the rest of the skill and spruced it up a bit.

Still pretty basic as far as spreadsheets go but good enough to play around with. I also didn't test it 100% or proofread it so could be some errors. Already updated it a few times already, as I forgot some perks, then forgot to adjust the math to include the perks I just added...

Glade it was useful.

I've updated it to include descriptions of the perks. So when you hover the mouse over the perk a little bubble should pop up with the description.

Enjoy... less than 2 days...

Sorry I did searched to see if anyone had made a spreadsheet with all the perk info and I could not find one.

Do you mean the general post about people perk selection? I figured this could warrant it's own thread and not get lost in the shuffle of those ongoing perk threads that seem to last a day or two then reach post limit.

Great work, Morilibus. I started making one of these, too, but couldn't focus on it. Love the layout.
