Perks and Racial Traits - any updates?

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 9:39 pm

Clearly we now have info on One-Handed and Light Armour, but I'm surprised there haven't been more recent updates on the basics.

For instance, is there confirmation of Sammu's perk lists and racial traits? His initial work was amazing but it could well have changed since then, and it would be incredibly helpful for character planning.

If anyone can help that would be amazing!

I think we have about four complete lists now, One-handed, Light Armour, Pickpocketing and Blacksmithing.

Indeed, but only two of them are actually new (One-handed, Light Armour) and they weren't known before so people were clearly looking out for them

I'm after the key mage skills mainly. I appreciate that Sammu's information is likely to be largely correct, but it would be good to know for sure

I'm right there with you! Unfortunately, the pirates would rather spoil/talk about major plot points and features of the game Bethesda wanted to remain a surprise than release the info that would actually benefit the community as a whole. I do believe we will have a complete list by the time the game launches, but we probably wont be seeing that list in its entirety this week.

That's quite a shame. It'd only take a minute to write down the lockpicking ones. Gee.

Quite - I don't get it. Not only do they stiff Beth out of hard earned cash, they don't even have the good grace to give anything back to the game-playing community

Says it all about the type of characters I suppose - seriously how difficult would it have been? Loads of them must realise that they would have been asking the same had the roles been reversed

There is currently a topic at gamefaqs about skyrim perks. One poster said that he will post the full list of perks this afternoon. Let's hope for the best(?)

The USEP list them all, with the exception of Lockpicking having only 2.

The point is though that they're still the ones listed by Sammu about a month ago

They need updating

By updating, I assume you mean completed. That has been done, with the exception of Lockpicking.

Most of those lists aren't complete. Perks are missing names, and some perks were missing altogether. Also, it would be nice to know which perks require which and how the trees are generally laid out.

So that looks complete to you, does it?

UESP has the general picture for most perks, they just need finalising and confirming :)

Go ahead bash the old guy. I'm just here for info, like everybody else. You don't have to be snide.

My apologies, did not mean to cause offence. Hopefully there'll be a snide reduction perk... Yeah, I'll stop now :sadvaultboy:

Would anyone choose a 'snide' perk? Don't think I would personally, but each to their own

You're fine. The last part is funny. :) I do have a sense of humor. I haven't outgrown that yet.
I tend to get snippy myself, from time to time. But, it's usually when I take a hit from someone else, or a post in a general complaint thread.
