2 perks per level?

Post » Mon May 21, 2012 5:23 pm

Has anyone seen a mod that does this? Skyrim leaves me feeling quite perk-starved and I'd like to play on Master more, but these darn perks make character development too tight.

If there isn't one, I'd greatly appreciate if someone made a mod like this :D I think it'd end up a very popular download

Elys Uncapper and XSO can do this. The first requires SKSE, and the latter requires Script Dragon.

auto perk/stat/level also has this capability, though it's turned off by default in favor of granting perks automatically when your skill is high enough to warrant it.

Enhanced Perk points does just about the same thing as elys' uncapper, without the uncapped skills, and offers a customizable reset option.

keep in mind, it's unlikely that these options are fully compatible with the beta patch as of yet.

To add yet a FOURTH and FIFTH mod that does this, "Enhanced Perk Points", and "Perk Points" also lets you modify the amount of perk points you get each level.

thanks for the responses guys, i actually found XSO and implemented the changes before refreshing the thread lol

working like a charm. i think this makes skyrim character development much better. with the vanilla settings i always felt so perk-starved.

Meh I'd prefer to see it so that:

1. Every 5 levels you get an extra perk
2. You can buy perks from trainers at the cost of 3 "times trained" per perk

Then...

3. Dragon souls can be exchanged for bonus training on skills

So you'd get an extra 10 perks just by normally playing to level 50, and you can now buy 1 perk per level by default, more if you exchange dragon souls for increased training opportunities.

Would feel a lot less hokey than just "you get double perks" IMO. Also would make it so you actually have stuff worth investing in.

The perk cost would have to be something like $5k or $6k though so its not something you'd do really early level.

no mater what the cost you can still picpocket the money back. it needs a max x times per level, like the skill trainer.

Apparently 1.4 broke all mods that deal with perks per level structure

Instead of a mod to install, does anyone know the console command to simply add another perk point?
