So I decided to re-start Skyrim earlier (because I updated a lot of my old mods from their Workshop version to their Nexus version, or their Dawnguard compatible version), and I was looking through my mod list and thought "You know, I'd like to see if I can't find some mods to fix some things, like the useless perks, maybe get some new weapons to go with my new armors. And something to make Archery more interesting. Hell, maybe a visuals mod in general to go along with the Skyrim HD Texture Pack."

So I've come here to ask the minds of the Mod forum for help. I've done some searching of my own, but I'm only one man, and I can't see or use or know everything. And you guys will have had the opportunity to try a lot of things and know what works and what doesn't. So here are the things I'm looking for:

1: I'm kind of tired of the way perks work in Skyrim - most are either useless (Tower of Strength, the weapons perks, Fists of Steel etc.) or completely game-breaking (Enchanting, Sneak, etc.). I've used Perk Tree Freedom and Helmless Warrior to get around many of the things I don't like, but I feel that maybe a complete, sensible overhaul would do more to make it feel more rewarding and worthwhile. I've only found one mod that comes close though - Skyrim ReDone - and I liked some of the changes - but I really disagreed with others, and don't think it would it sit well to play with.

2: I started using Immersive Armors before I restarted, and loved it. But now the vanilla weapons seem kind of dull, and lacking in variety in comparison. However, most of the weapons I've found are not to my liking - they either add lore-breaking weapons, or the weapons they add look cheesy and stupid, look plastic children's toys. I've considered both Jaysus Swords and Skyrim Heavy Armory, but I haven't decided yet (and I'm not sure they'll work well with Morrowloot).

3: Though I find melee combat greatly improved by Duel - Combat Realism, I find that Archery is still incredibly dull for some reason. Are there any good mods available that make archery more fun/interesting?

4: I currently use the Skyrim HD Texture Pack as my enhanced visuals mod, but I've been wondering if there aren't others I could use. I've tried SMIM, but either it pushes my computer too far, or conflicts with something else, because I get gltiches, CTDs and odd graphics when using it, so I stopped.
