Last night while playing I noticed how an arrow in my character wouldn't disappear. I tried restarting Skyrim as well as my computer and its still there.

Any tips on how to fix this?

It lasts a while for me but not forever. I just ignored it. It might go away if you sleep in a bed.

In Oblivion the arrow ended up your inventory, and if you dropped it, the arrow that was sticking out of you went away. I haven't gotten one stuck in me yet, but I have seen this happen to other NPCs. There's a guard in Riverwood walking around with an arrow stuck in his ear. I think another guard shot him during a dragon attack, somehow.

Haha Im sorry but for some reason I Lol'd at this. What are you playing on? Im on the 360 and arrows vanish pretty quickly for me.

The solution is to get shot by another arrow, by anyone. Solves it. I had one stuck in my head for quite some time until I found the solution in the forums.

Happened to me too. If you are on the PC, just hit ` and then type sixchange and then do it again if you want to go back to the same six as before.

Just a note that by using the console you sacrifice your achievements for that file. I just went and got hit by a bunch of arrows and it disappeared.
