I had this earlier, just wait and it goes after about an hour - a real ugly, pain the ass I know.

You could try resetting the console/PC Idk if that'll work though, I was too into the game to give that a shot haha.

Oh DUDE this just happened to me I was so terrified!!! Nothing worked, I tried restarting, reloading, shutting off the system and everything but none of it worked!

Except all you have to do is save your game, then reload a save before you have the arrow in you. For me, I had none except for the autosave at the very beginning of the game... is that something that is automatically put there for every one? Anyway, just save your current game then go back to a save without the arrow and reload your current save. Voila. Should be spick and span!

Lol ^^ Pain in the ass... literally? TES games always remind me of Shrek when I see people walking around after an archery fight: "There's an arrow in your butt!"

Mine was in my left shoulder right under the neck... case you were wondering.

They're in your inventory, unequip or drop any arrows you have and that should fix it.

terrified? having a graphical error terrified you? forcing you to reload a save?

i had a error where my knife was sheathed into my head. i lived with it until i reequipped my weapon and it sheathed in the proper place. and how is waiting an hour a pain in the ass? its one of the simplest things in the game. i dont get how this bothers you people so much. its just a little graphical bug.

or instead of fixing it pretend your a draugr come back to haunt someone. :D

Not necessarily, I had this problem while fighting some bandits who were shooting me with bows. For some reason, in the middle of the fight, it auto-equipped the arrows that had been transferred into my inventory after they had hit me onto my character. At the end of the fight I dropped them, but noticed I still had a quiver on my back with an arrow stuck in it, but no arrows in my inventory. Sat on my back until I got the notion to get a bow and try shooting it away. Lo and behold an arrow was nocked, and I shot it away, but noticed the arrow counter was up around 40,000. Checking my character again though, the arrow was off my back, so I left it alone.

FIX

On PC, hit '~' to bring up the console.

Type 'sixchange'. Hit enter. Type 'sixchange' again. Hit enter.

Press '~' to close the console.

This doesn't change your characters looks or skills, just resets their model to what it should be. Note that using the console disables achievements (if you care about that sort of thing), but ONLY FOR THAT GAME SESSION. To re-enable achievements just exit the game and start it again. Your character will still be fixed.

haven't had this happen to me but I'd probably try dropping my entire inventory/unequipping everything and picking it back up. Maybe sleep or wait too

Haha I'm pretty sure I have the same problem. Every time I look at my character he has an arrow in about the same place. I don't think it will affect gameplay, its just kinda annoying.
