In the Bards' College quest "Tending the Flames", Viarmo asks you to make up forgotten parts of Svaknir's version of Olaf's slaying of Numinex. I just can't seem to be able to persuade Viarmo the second time, when you tell him that Olaf was Numinex and attacked Winterhold in dragon form IIRC.

Has anyone been able to persuade Viarmo that Olaf sacked Winterhold in dragon form? What speechcraft skill is required?

I did it around 60 at least.

I persuaded him, but when he read the poem, he did not use that that dialogue. That was disappointing.

I never use that one. It's just not believable....
