Pessimism?

Seems like an awful lot of negativity if i'm honest about Skyrim. Don't get me wrong a lot of people are happy about number 5 being on it's way (like me!). However amongst it all there seems to be the vibe of THEY BETTER NOT DO THIS! etc etc.

Just a week ago there were people praying for an announcement in the speculation thread. I understand people just want the perfect game but.. you know.

Hopefully when the screenshots, videos and previews come through people's "doubts" will be sqaushed.

Honestly, most forums to run toward the negative. Here, you just have an established core of people who have been hating the last game for five years.

It kind of kills my enthusiasm for forums, honestly.

When you complain about complaints you just add to the initial problem, please don't.

Stamping your foot about how the game can't have XYZ or you won't buy it may be silly but a little pessimism is better than getting overly hyped up from the get go and ending up with expectations the game can't meet.
