Pets and Oblivion

Okay, somthing funny happned the other day but first let me explain.

I have two young kittens, one of which seems to enjoy watching the screen up close when I'm playing Oblivion. When they're not attacking the text cursor when I'm namming a new enchanted weapon or armour peice, they're bewildered by the dialogue sections.

Anyway, the other day, I was raiding a cave, when, and I kid you not, I was confronted by a rather nasty goblin. The little bugger flew at me, my kitten, in front of the screen, watching, went into total attack mode, hissing, back up, claws extended. Luckilly, my shield was raised and I countered with a strong sword swing to the gut, in my mind sending intestines and organs spraying all over the cavern (Bethseda, are you reading this??). My cat then jumps off the TV stand, onto my lap, and continues to watch me play from saftey. My wife, also watching is wetting herself laughing at what I considermyself to be a moment when I wish I had a camcorder...

Any other funny pet moments while playing Oblivion?

Great story! It just goes to show how real the game is- even the cats are confused.

My story is not quite Oblivion, but it is Bethesda-
I remember playing Fallout 3 a few years ago in the pitch dark at 2am in the morning. I was hunting Super Mutants in the bowels of some building when the calico cat I own suddenly decided to land on me from the back of the couch. I was never expecting it (I always wear headphones when I play) and the bloody cat scared the life out of me. I jumped a mile and that in turn scared the cat, which promptly raced off into the darkness.

It took 10 minutes for my heart to recover.....
