I haven't done it, but apparently, maxing it out with perks lets you strip enemies naked before they even realize you are there. Probably not practical, but highly amusing.

If you are playing a thief character, it is a lot of fun.

I even managed to pickpocket M'aiq :hubbahubba:

Its so easy to level, it was my first level 100, stealing 400+ gold will always gain you two levels even at high skill level, same with item value. Also the perk +100 carry capacity is useful, all the other perks are not so great though tbh. I usually use trainers then steal the gold back of them, so thats how I get it up so fast

Does this work? The money you spend on training actually ends up in the inventory of the NPC? Wow.. that's pretty nice. Atleast I know what character I'll be rerolling as next game.

It's quite thrilling to steal things. And you can take a perk to poison people while picking their pockets thought I have not tried that one yet.

Probably useful for some character types, but I think it's more of a novelty than a practicality.
