They can spend thousands of hours on this game, yet they can't put something that is vital to TES, in the game, yeah, its kind of lazy. I'm not saying they are lazy in general, i'm saying that not putting this in, is an act of laziness. Idk if that makes sense? Blah.
But yeah, i know where your coming from.
Okay let's get real here, calling pickpocketing "vital to TES" is a bit far and that's putting it lightly. Pickpocketing has always been (and become more so with every SP TES game) right up there with for instance Illusion, it's a skill that has a base usefulness and is used by some, but for most players (myself included) it really wouldn't be all that noticeable if it was removed as it really isn't needed for ANYTHING in the games, especially in Skyrim. Sure Pickpocketing is fun and great for RP purposes, but it's not "vital" whatsoever and calling it that is really quite silly.
Also it's not at all lazy to not put something in a game for balancing purposes. I'd much rather they spend hours and hours working upon major game content or even things like player housing rather than trying to find a perfect balance for a single skill that's really low on the TES skill food chain.
It's fine if you want to say, as BlueSnacks said that them not putting it in was an act of poor judgement or say an oversight, but saying that it's quite simply lazy to not have included it is really quite foolish because that's clearly not the reason whatsoever why it was not included.
It's perfectly understandable if you're one of those who pickpocketing meant the world to in the SP games and so you're upset with them not including it, but at least have the grace to choose your words a bit better when you voice those feelings.
