Also are you sure the Altmer is an altmer? Looks very similar to a bosmer, could be either or by the looks of it- or maybe you read that it was a altmer?

That altmer is definitely an altmer, says so on the ESO website. I don't know about the bosmer though.

An Altmer, it is a little bit difficult to see because of the sunlight, but the skin is gold instead of regular.

at least it would explain why the picture is called "Altmer Playing a Lute" on the official page...

I don't mind that much. Aslong as you can play some song or something. I like it if my Nord barbarian could play in a tavern. It adds a soft and poetic side for her. Good for roleplay.
