Pirates can play online, and I have NEVER once been able to

Post » Fri Jun 03, 2011 12:25 am

I DEMAND A REFUND. That's it, I am fed up. As a consumer I demand a refund. I paid $60.00 for this game, and Not once. NEVER ONCE have I been able to actually log in to the game. I have received no support from anyone.

The game keeps telling me that I have the incorrect login details (on the account I am writing this on). I tried making THREE NEW ACCOUNTS. I tried creating an account in the game, but it says "account creation unsuccessful"

You RIPPED ME off crytek. You straight up stole money from me. How could you do this?

Uhh you might wanna check and see if your firewall is allowing communication to the server too.

Not only do I NOT have a firewall, I've even gone as far as enabling DMZ on my router. I am so open right now, that a toddler with a downloaded script could hack me!

I play dozens of games online, and have never had a connection issue. I host a ventrilo server, and people have no trouble connecting to me either.

It wouldn't be "pirating" since I bought the game. But I need to download an illegal copy to make it work? That's BS

make sure your firewall allows you to connect if you still cant, atleast wait for the first patch, if that doesnt help then you have all the right to be mad and complain and bich as much as you want =)

I am in a chat with the EA reps as we speak.

It is very frustrating. here is a small part of the transcript.

Christie: I would suggest that you load up the game's multiplayer mode, enter your key, then go into single player, and finally, go back into multiplayer and re-enter your key. After this, you should be good to go and won't have to enter your key again.
Kevin : THATS NOT MY PROBLEM
Kevin : Have you been reading anything I wrote?
Kevin : The problem is that It's saying my login details are incorrect
Kevin : has NOTHING to do with my code
Kevin : And I tried that anyway
Kevin : was of no help

1. Disable built-in windows firewall
2. Set DMZ host at your router
3. Create account from EA Download Manager
4. Play.

Dont play to much with symbols, such as "/_-()" etc in username

So you know it wants your game spy account details right? Thats what I'm using to log in. If you have Crysis Wars or Red Alert 3 or something else using Gamespy get them from there. You do have a Gamespy account right?

Otherwise make one at their website.

Exactomondo. Gamespy account is what you want. Not EA or any other.

Sadly, even that one is screwed up for me. I've got the same across the board and it still doesn't work.
