For those who hate Fox, here's a snippet:

So, I guess that means delivery people will be obsolete in like 5, maybe 10 years?

I don't care if the Bunny Rabbit hires Goblins to build a Zeppelin so he can spread easter cheer, and Dominoes DomiCopter assassinates him mid-air en route to my house, if it's 10 minutes for a pizza somebody please god do this.*

*Current pizza times in my area are pretty bad. Like 45 minutes bad.

I can just see some bored person who lives near a Dominoes sitting in his backyard, watching this thing fly over his house to deliver pizzas. He looks over at his pellet gun leaning up against the house, and pop, no pizza drone.

I can think of easier ways to deliver frisbee shaped foods.

Maybe instead of making robots deliver, make machines that teleport the food.

"I'm sorry, your order cannot be delivered due to the weather"

Maybe they'll need the USPS to develop the drones...rain, sleet, snow....and it'll provide income for the USPS!

Though i gotta say, once i get one of those NASA food printers, ill never have to worry about food delivery people/robots again!

So you have to stand outside like a chump waiting for your pizza?

What if it's:

1) a prank pizza order

2) delivered to a highrise building

3) ordered by a disabled person

This concept will never fly.

I haven't had a pizza delivered in years. My mom just picks it up now due to how confused the people delivering always got. A pizza delivering drone sounds pretty useful, though. Those can't get too confused about where a house is located, I hope...

I just had a good pizza in a restaurant right next to where I am.. I won't have any use for a pizza drone with such a short distance, and it wouldn't be able to deliver a dessert either.

No don't you see that's what the pizza companies want you think, first you order a pizza then a drone comes along and lures you into a false since of security then when you open the door to get your pizza BAAM!!! Missile in the front door...the pizza companies get your money and get a free pizza...!

That's pretty cool. I never have pizza delivered though, since I always drive and pick it up myself. Perhaps those days will be over soon...

Hmm. Watching that video, something occurred to me..... I've seen video of various RC multi-copters. They're not that steady (wind currents make them drift around a good bit), and they're horribly dangerous to stand near. You wouldn't want to stand in front of one of those, while it's engines are on, to remove the pizza from the bag. Big rotating fanblades, right in your face. :cold:

Better yet, have a stronger controller signal than them and hijack that pizza!
