Places to slaughter as a WW

Where's the best place to level up perks for the lycanthropy tree without risking killing citizens and npcs in cities? I can't feed on wild animals like I did as a VL. =/

There is a perk you get when you evolve the perks that makes you able to kill and feed on animals. It's the right arm of the tree.

You can, but you need the Savage Feeding perk. I just ran around the wilderness, poking my head into any spot with humans. I hope you're ready to leave your X-Box idle for an hour, though, because the "Bloodlust increased" bonus you get from eating people REALLY stacks up. :P

Personally, since I joined the Imperials as a Vampire Lord, I just went and slaughtered every Stormcloak camp I could find.

I have been hitting the Forsworn camps around the west part of the map. Also sacked Helgen, as it's just bandits in there now. Some other options would be appreciated too.

Ah, didn't know about the animal feeding, I havent even looked into the tree yet. Thanks for the tip, and I've had my rounds on the Stormcloak camps as a VL, all that's left are the vital npc's that dont die. Even the horses are dead.

You know you can just use the wait feature in game and it will go away right?

As others have said the perk to feed on animals greatly helps. Other than that I went to the Reach and preyed on Forsworn since they are in abundance, you get no bounty, and no one likes them anyways.

Do feeding on animals raise the perk bar as much as feeding on humans do? Does it vary or are the increases all the same?

Just go on a three-city-killing spree. That's what I did.

Stayed in WW form the whole time as well. Kept feeding to extend my carnage spree and in just under an hour I had the whole Perk tree maxed.

Granted, i cleared anyone useful out of Windhelm, Riften and Whiterun, but I got it maxed. :D

I used Solitude, Whiterun and Dawnstar...there are some pretty tasty guards and civilians there!

Killing sprees are fun! The silver hand should come after people who use werewolves a lot.

Yeah, but I don't like being a werewolf actually, so I only did it for the achievement.

This was my reasoning and my goal as well. I just did it on a new character and didn't save. ;)

I have played exclusively as a Vampire since Daggerfall, and even in Morrowind's Bloodmoon the Werewolves didn't really thrill me. So on the flipside to what I did as a Werewolf, I'm taking my Vampire Lord nice and slow. Savoring every life stolen and essence consumed.

Yum.

My plan was to go through a werewolf first, as I already was one due to the fix not working for me, making a save and having Serana vamp me out, then going through the vampire tree, decide which, if any I like best, and then playing through the save that works best for me. If nothing else, it's far easier to cure vampirism if I think they both svck.

I've been working on this the last few days...I typically just take to a road and kill anything I come across on the road plus I make stops at any stormcloak camps, bandits, forsworn, or any other non important people I come across...then when im all done I run to a place where there are no enemies and wait two hours.

I kill the farmers and all the guards around cities, they're not really important and missing one minor quest to retrieve something stupid from a long dwemer mine is ok with me :)

Once i got the savage feeding perk i just ran around the land killing and feasting on any man or beast that was unlucky enough to cross my path, stopping at the occasional bandit hideout on my journey

This Perk was what allowed me to max out the Perk tree in one transformation. I ate humans in Windhelm and then took out every person I could find along the way until I got this Perk. One I unlocked it... anything that moved was prey.

3 cities, over 300 creatures eaten, nothing left living in a triangle made up of Whiterun, Windhelm, and Riften, all on one transformation.

It was actually kind of fun.
