Anyone know if Skyrim is playable in 3rd person view ?

I know you can actually put the camera in 3rd person, but i want to know if it is a viable way to play the game.

Yes u can play it on 3rd person, don't worry .

It is a viable option, but it is not designed to be played that way. It is miles ahead of oblivion and fallout in that regard though. If you feel you need to play the game in third person it will still be very enjoyable.

We design the game as a first person game, but we realize that people enjoy playing it in 3rd person. I think you'll be impressed with the improvements we've made.

I'm a huge fan of 3rd person, and so if that is true, I can't wait!

YES!

From the vids I've seen, 3rd person looks to be a HUGE improvement over the FO and other TES titles.

I personally find it more comfortable to fight in first person though when I'm just walking around in a town or something third person is the way to go.
