2. Quest turn-in. Is this automatic (not addressed in the large and small guide-books I have). I was given a quest, got the quest item, returned to the quest giver, and even though I have the quest item in my inventory, I can't give it to him, and he doesn't acknowledge that I have the item. He keeps telling me to get the quest item. I've even returned to the place where the body is of the NPC who had stolen the item, and made sure I had searched the correct body.
NOTE: I didn't completely go to the end of the cave system because as a level 2 (pure mage, no armor) I can't take on 4 skeleton fighters (in one area of the cave) simultaneously. So after a search in the Skyrim Wiki for help, I turned around and exited the cave area back the way I entered it, which is what the Wiki suggested. If I need to exit the way the cave system leads me, otherwise I can't turn the quest in, I guess I'm out of luck and the 400 gold I would get for the quest. That also means I have a useless item taking up weight since I can't drop it out of my inventory.
3. I had assigned 4 different items to the Quick Keys/Hot Keys. Item 3 was a long bow, item 4 was a great sword. There were no problems with items 1 and 2. At times, when switching between number 3 and 4, the 2H sword would lose its assigned number and could not be activated via the Quick/Hot Keys. I've since replaced the 2H with a 1H sword and now it seems to be working without problems.
4. When the bow is selected as the weapon of choice, clicking and holding the left mouse button is supposed to draw the bowstring back to its full extension. It doesn't do that in my game, and hence the bow is useless (tried it with a longbow and hunting bow - same results on both.) I've tried this on NPCs/animals in town, and on NPCs and animals outside the town- and it does not work. I just got a new mouse a few days ago, Logitech M310, and it's working fine in all other games and programs.
If someone could help with this, I would appreciate it.
