Player Placed items, and how they hate Physics...

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 9:52 am

So, I worked my Butt off, and purchased my house in Solitude.. So I dumped everything in piles, and organized, and placed them, one at a time on the tables and shelves. Potions, Ingredients.. Foods, Crafting materials so on and so forth. Placed my "trophies"(things i thought were cool from my explorations) in my room on display. So I was proud of myself, so I Took a Break. Afterwards I loaded my save back up. I heard an ungodly crash, and every item i placed was THROWN across my house!

This happens every time with almost every item i place. Even Heavy Kettles and such..

4 hours of carefully placing things so they did not overlap or rest on each other! Has anyone else had this happen to them?
Can we look forward to a Fix for this maybe? its Frustrating not being able to decorate our houses without fear of this =(

The physics in this game are laughable and there's no known fix at the moment but maybe a patch?

Hoping for a fix as well. At least the bookshelves, weapon racks and weapon plaques work great to store books and weapons, but there's plenty of other stuff to display.

I agree. I may have to settle for random chests and random drawers to store all my ingredients till the Construction set comes out.

I think this is broken in some way. E.g. the skeleton of the first dragon I killed (the main quest/tower one) is thrown around, too. When I killed him, he's been next to the tower. Next game session he's been about 100m north of the tower, today he was across on the street right next to the farms/stable.

Predicting its path, it might end up on my house's rooftop tomorrow. Might look neat. :D
