Playing Skyrim is 3-D could be amazing but I am having a BIG

I have 3-D vision and have played a few games in 3-D. The Wither 2 is 3-D vision ready and looks great. I want Skyrim to look amazing as well but it isn’t 3-D vision ready but has a rating of excellent to play in 3-D. I have a bunch of great mods running for the game and when the 3-D is off the game look AMAZING and runs like butter on ultra high settings on my computer. I have a GTX-560 as an FYI. I also downloaded the 3-D vision complete compatibility mod but this hasn’t done anything to improve the game from what I am seeing.

While getting the convergence and depth straightened out the first section of the game while in the underground cave looks very impressive in 3-D. Then when I walk outside the trees and all the shadows that are represented are in 2-D making the game virtually unplayable (hurts my eyes too). The sky is 2-D as well and looks like it is really close to the ground. This is very disappointing as I would really love to play the game in 3-D.

All I read is how amazing this game is in 3-D and I must be missing a step here.
I did read that there was the 1.5 patch that ruined the 3-D for this game so can anyone help me out to get this game looking amazing in 3-D? Right now it’s like viewing the real world through a window, but having shadows and lights render ON THE WINDOW.

Set bDeferredShadows to 0 in SkyrimPrefs.ini. I've seen someone mention recently it fixes shadows in stereo 3D.

So you don't have any experience with this yourself then?

Thanks for the reply, I will try that later tonight.

Anyone else?

Hi Had the same problem when they introduced the New shadowing System It svcks
Found this http://helixmod.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-3d-vision-all-in.html
you extract the files into your main skyrim folder not the data folder. then run the game as normal

Edit: I think this may conflict with ENB Mods

I will try this also. So now when you play in 3-D and you are outside and look in the distance its not blurry or hard on the eyes?

The only thing that gives you a bit of eye strain is Small pools of water like in the corridors of "Ilinalta's Deep" Large areas are fine .
The land scape should look better then in Normal 2D just a bit darker.
