I messaged him saying "Come on, dude. Why do you have to be like that?"
I then get invited to a party by him, and I'm thinking "Oh, here we go..." I put my mic in and enter the party, and am greated with four 11-14 year olds, judging by their voices and 1337 gamertags. The person who betrayed me pipes up "Hey, War Machine. Yeah, I'm sorry dude, I was screwing around. Do you want to play Firefight with us?"
And I was... kinda dumbstruck. I've never had a person be polite to me after such an encounter, but here he was! And he was a little kid, too. You know, the one's that plague XBOX with awful profanity and newly-discovered racist slurs? They weren't like that. They were sincere and apolagetic, and nice. That was a really nice surprise! And I knew they weren't going to screw with me because as you may know, you can't betray and grief in Firefight on Reach.
Anyway, that game would have been my last because I was going to make something to eat, so I poilitely declined, to which they said "Okay, see ya. Sorry again!"
I'm impressed.
