Please fix the selling of the Elder Scrolls

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 5:47 am

Please fix the option to (re)sell the Elder Scrolls after Fininshing Dawnguard.

On one character, I sided with the Dawnguard and was able to sell the Blood and Sun Scrolls to Dexion, but because I sold and bought back the Dragon Scroll from Urag Gr-Shub during the vanilla MQ, I am stuck with the Dragon Scroll.

On another character, I sided with the Vamps and cannot sell any of the scrolls, even the Dragon Scrolls which I held on to after the MQ.

Please let us sell them regardless of what side we choose or whether we've sold them before. Or at least let us drop/store them.

If Dawnguard serves as an example for future DLC, it may better that we keep all those Scrolls on us. D=

Then why give the option to sell them at all? At least let us drop them so we can uncluttered our inventory

I would love to be able to actually use them for house decorating, I want to keep them, just not have to carry them around everywhere along with the other quest items my characters keep getting stuck with. The first characters list of things he cannot get rid of is ever growing. A few less things to scroll through would be nice.

We need a way to get rid of this god forsaken scroll, it wastes 20 weight in our inventory and we can't get rid of it, what a load of crap...

Quest items should not weigh anything, regardless of what they are v_v

Quest items already weigh nothing despite what their given weight might be, makes no difference what they are, they are all weightless.

That doesn't seem right, I stripped down naked one time wile I was moving between homes and still had over 80 weight on me, those things are definetly weighing me down.

[EDIT] I read the wiki and your right, but theres a bug in the 360 version with the elder scrolls where the weight gets added every time their removed, its really [censored] cause there doesn't seem to be any way to fix it, so ya, the elder scroll dragon isn't whats weighing me down, its the 4 times I gave away my other scrolls, 3 during dawnguard, 1 during the main quest.

better yet they should just make them have no weight, that or in the future make a separate elder scroll UI instead of keeping them in ur bags, that or some sort of home Scroll table where you can keep your scrolls safe.

Yes, Please let us at least drop them, if we can't sell them. I went the vampire route and I am stuck with 60 weight worth of Elder Scrolls. I have tried everything possible to get rid of them but nothing works. It is hard to do much at all with you are weighed down by so much. I constantly have to go through my inventory to store other more crucial items because I am carrying these three worthless items. Please Please Please fix this!!!!! It is making me not want to play the game. At the absolute very least, just make quest items like this weigh nothing, 0.

It is your imagination that is telling you they are weighing you down, so just imagine the scrolls are not there. How many times do people have to be told they are weightless.

And despite what Mightylink said, I play on the Xbox 360 and tested it out for myself after all the quests were done, they are still weightless, along with all the musical instruments, books, strange amulet, journal and whatever other quest items Braggen is lugging around. Maybe some get the bug, but I doubt it is many.
