You had a lifetime commitment, a bond, and you ruined it. Why should the temple of Kynareth EVER let you remarry? :nono:

Soooo you got angry and beat your spouse to death? I'm pretty sure they're doing the right thing by not letting you remarry.

Usually, People save before trying something like that.

If you Did it Not for fun, But just to do it. Then The Temple just should give up on you.

Well.. There was a good reason.. One time I came home to my windhelm home.. and I couldn't find my wife or my House Carl on the first floor.. I walked up stairs and they are both sleeping in my bed..

Seconded. Seriously.

If this was real life, you'd go to the block for murdering your wife. Be glad all you get is eternal bachelorhood.

They should fix that.

I slept with my Stuart in my Home. And Aela was watching.

And a TES is a TES. And how they see it there, it's an unbreakable bond, divorce would be heavily frowned upon back then. Killing your wife is worse.

Divorce/remarriage would be an easy thing to add, I expect. But it's nothing I'd have any use for. If I wanted a dose of reality, I'd turn off my PS3 and go outside.

My favorite quote on the subject, by Schwarzeneggar:

SOME KID: "I [threw up in the back of your car]. Sorry, I thought I was gonna die."

ARNOLD: "Well sorry to disappoint you, but you're going to live and enjoy all the rich fruits life has to offer: acne, shaving, premature ejeculation... and your first divorce."

I don't want to remarry as to me marriage is life.

But what I do want is for to be made law in Skyrim that if you are a hero of displayed great worth, then you can have more than one wife.

Reasoning being is that you are obviously the equivalent of more than one man (or woman) as displayed by your mighty strength and great heroic deeds so you must have the equal amount of love to share. Obviously too much love for a mere mortal human to cope with on her own.

I hope that we have this option as well, though only because The Gift is glitched in my game and I cannot activate the quest. I'm hoping that getting a new spouse might suddenly cause it to become active. Probably not, but I've tried everything else.

Why kill her? Just say you got rockjoint from some solitude guard after a long night.

If you know what I mean.

(She'll get all pissed that you slept with a guard then run off)

i agree you should be able to divorce your wife and get a new one it would make the game more rpg which would be cool i think...cuz yeah peoples wives do get killed by dragons and [censored] so why wouldnt you let them get a new one? the kids are now motherless and you no longer have a person to mooch money off of and the amazeing and awesome dragon born is doomed to be lonley for the rest of his/her life...so yes please a small patch to make divorce and re marrage possible heck i would even pay a dollar for the patch XD

I don't now divorce would be to costly, she takes half your houses, half the daedric artifacts, and other loot you've been storing.
