Ponyware X 51

Don't listen to these people hating Alienware. It only costs more then an average Pc. It's just hate and it is your money you can do whatever you want with it. Alienware has very well built Pc's from what I have heard. None of them understand why you can't build your own Pc or I guess they can't read.

That's kinda the point of why people dislike them. :ermm:

Nobody here hates Alienware or their products. All that we are saying is that you shouldn't buy Alienware because they're overpriced and you can build yourself a much better PC for the same amount of money.

So I just got back from a LAN party and my little X51 held its own pretty well, plus it was a breeze just to pack it up in my backpack and take it there!
The whole lights on the side deal wasnt too much of an selling point for me but it looked pretty good near the other plainer PCs
All in all I could nt be more pleased with my purchse, plus I got to out it as a pc for my buisness so I got a pretty neat tax deduction too to both :D

Listen to these people.

Building one isn't nearly as daunting as it sounds, you just have to make sure not use to much pressure and stay grounded.
Oh, and make sure you put the motherboard standoff in the correct spots only, NONE EXTRA.

I was thirteen when I built my first one. Most manufacturers will RMA any part that goes wrong.

I suggest newegg, love them. Best website ever.

I'd be happy to suggest some parts and general tips for you. Just PM me if you need anything.

Edit: Void everything, didn't read the whole thread, my bad. :ermm:

The point is yiu don't need high end parts to build a decent rig. I bought a mobo that was a year old that wasn't even a top of the line board when it came out. I bought a cheap AMD proc (4 cores though) for less than $100. The most expensive component I did buy was the video card at almost $300 and even that wasn't the one everyone was screaming to get( it's a geForce 560 but not the XT or whatever it is). I paid $100 for the hdd and $75 for memory. I recycled two of my hard drives too so I didnt have to buy an OS. You don't need to spend $1k+ on an Alienware when you can hit Newegg and buy parts for a lot less.

Like I said, I'm running Skyrim maxed out on ultra running a ton of high end texture mods.

I know Newegg ships international so that's a shot. I'm sure the price in shipping would still be cheaper for parts than for a computer.

My mistake. I thought they did; but I live in the US so I admit I don't pay attention to where they ship.

I'll take my leave since I'm not helping the op at all. I'm sorry.

The amount of people commenting without realizing the OP made a purchase already is rather hilarious. Might want to update your first post or else the stream of computer purchasing advice will continue. :P

Or he could simply ask for the thread to be closed. Probably for the best, I'd say.
