My poor dog died...

Post » Wed Dec 07, 2011 4:22 pm

So i bought the dog vigilant, from markath, and now his body rests inside some dwemer ruins along side those damn afflicted ( they barfed him to death).

So, i went to markath again thinking i could buy a new one, but it semms there's no other dog... is he lost forever? Or is there another city in wich i can buy a new dog? >_<

You can find one near falkreath :P But beware, he will push you off cliffs whenever he can.

I had a stray dog show up on a quest. He was helpful for a while, but I was afraid he would die in a battle, so I sent him home.

Never had a problem with him pushing me around... i love dogs, so a dog companion is more than welcome for me

Also thanks... i even bothered to burn his body in his honor when he died ._., i can kill countless animals without feeling bad, but a dog? That just makes me feel like a monster.

Indeed! I had to send him away, wouldn't stop pushing me!

However, he's immortal. Which is nice...after killing 4 companions already.

They don't really die in battle, they're like companions they bend over and start to regenerate back to fight again, they only semm to die when a lasting effect stays on then ( in wich case was the discusting acid barf from the afflicted.

OK, so I did not want to admit that I got him drowned under an Ice Flow as that was what I had to cross to get to where I was heading. So, I reloaded an earlier save and sent him home.
