Portable Wifi Hotspot

I do a fair amount of traveling and I was wonder ing if there's a such thing as a portable wifi hotspot that I can you anywhere; even for playing on a console if I want?

Something like the Verizon Jetpack would do the trick. Most Cell companies sell something along the lines of a MiFi.

Just make sure you lock it down with a password. A buddy at work had one and he racked up 10G in data charges in just a few days letting people in his office surf on it.

From first hand experiences, how are the connections?

Yup. Seen people hijack these hotspots as well, trying to access people's information.

Impossible to answer as it'll depend on the carrier you get it through and your current location. Cell coverage as well as attenna reception will vary by location and carrier. If you travel internationally, that adds yet another variable.

It's not released yet, but there's no reason why it shouldn't, provided good coverage.
